How durable is Max-Secure® Institutional Furniture?
Our institutional furniture leads the prison and behavioral furniture industry in both durability and security. Our team manufactures the entire Endura Series product line using Max-Secure®’s advanced proprietary Herculite polymer
Our Estilo Series product line is also manufactured using a proprietary advanced polymer composition. Both compositions boast industry-leading durability.
Our products are built to endure even the most challenging environments. Resistant to scratching, carving, and being completely pick-proof, our furniture will faithfully serve your institution for years to come.
Will Max-Secure® Institutional Furniture be able to be moved/picked up?
Because of our specialized installation process, our furniture cannot be moved or picked up after installation.
Most of our products are easily installed using a structural adhesive mounting system and perimeter pick-proof sealant, which leaves no exposed fasteners. This system securely fastens Max-Secure® furniture where it is installed – ensuring it cannot be moved.
We ballast our behavioral health furniture with sand if it cannot be securely fastened, also ensuring it cannot be thrown
What kind of maintenance does your behavioral health furniture require?
We engineered our justice furniture to be maintenance-free, so your staff won’t have to worry about performing repetitive maintenance work in high security areas.
Have you tested your institutional products?
Every Max-Secure® product is subject to a gauntlet of harsh regulatory performance and flammability tests to ensure our superior quality that lasts for years within harsh institutional environments.
These tests include numerous ASTM International performance tests as well as the UL94 Standard for Safety of Flammability of Plastic Materials and the California No. 133 Flammability Test Procedure for Seating Furniture.

Is it easy to clean Max-Secure® furniture?
Cleaning our behavioral health furniture is a breeze thanks to their monolithic construction – making it easy to keep your facility and residents clean. Our product surface is easily wiped clean with a cloth.
